Become an Ambassador: from profile to first earnings

Before you start you'll need: a Smappo account.

1. From your account menu open Ambassadors and choose your personal code, for example your name.
2. Write a couple of lines about yourself and your community, accept the terms and the commitment to disclose your promotions.
3. Open the page of an event looking for Ambassadors: below the tickets you'll find the Ambassador programme invitation, with the discount for buyers and what you earn per ticket.
4. Press Apply and explain in a message why you're the right person and who you can reach. We email you when the organiser decides.
5. Once you're approved, you'll find your link in My promotions: start sharing it.

Good to know

• You can promote free events too, with a click and without waiting for approval: you don't earn, but every person you bring grows your reputation, and organisers see it when you apply for their paid events.
• An organiser can also invite you directly: you'll get an email.
• You can change your code until an organiser approves you for an event. From then on it's fixed, because posts already published would stop working: take your time choosing it.
• You don't see who bought with your code: that data stays with the organiser. You see how many tickets and how much you've earned.
