How can we help?

1. From your account menu open Ambassador, choose your personal code (your name, for example) and write a couple of lines about you and your community. Accept the terms and the commitment to disclose promotions.
2. Open the page of an event looking for Ambassadors: below the tickets you'll find the “Ambassador programme” invitation. With an active profile you see the buyers' discount and what you earn per ticket.
3. Press “Apply” and add a message: why you're the right person, who you reach, how many people you expect to bring. We email you when the organiser decides.
4. Once approved, My promotions has the link that fills in your code: share it on social media, in groups and stories, always with #ad. You can also say the code out loud.
5. Follow the sales day by day. In Payouts connect your payout account: 7 days after the event your shares reach your balance; you move them to your bank whenever you like (Stripe may charge fees for transfers to your bank: you see them before confirming).
6. After the payout you get an email; leave the organiser a rating.

Not by yourself: posts you've already published would stop working. If you really need to, open a request in the Ambassadors category.

Events looking for Ambassadors say so on their page, below the tickets: from there open “Find out how”, see the discount and your share (with an active profile) and apply with a short message. When the organiser approves you, you get an email with the link to share. Organisers can also invite you directly.

With the link in My promotions: it opens the event page with your code already filled in. You can also say the code out loud or put it in your stories: buyers enter it at checkout, under “Have a code?”.

Whenever you promote an event you must say it's a promotion, for example with #ad or “paid partnership”.

We pay you. You connect your payout account once in Payouts: Stripe runs it, and it takes a few details and your bank account. If you're already an organiser on Smappo, we use your organiser account.

7 days after each event ends the shares you earned reach your balance, and we email you. From Payouts you move them to your bank whenever you like: before confirming you see the transfer fees, charged by Stripe (Smappo keeps none of it). You can also let them build up and move them in one go. Refunded or cancelled tickets don't count, and you earn nothing on tickets you buy yourself. Payouts shows your balance, what's on its way and what's waiting for events to end.

Every morning after a day when you sold with your code, you get an email with the tickets sold per event and the shares earned. On days without sales you get nothing. You can turn it off in your Ambassador profile by unticking “Get your sales summary by email”. The full detail is always in the Ambassador area.

No: you only see how many tickets and how much you've earned. Buyers' details stay with the organiser.
